How to Lower Blood Pressure
High blood pressure (or hypertension) is a completely reversible disease.
I know. I did it.
I remember the day I sat across from the nurse taking my blood pressure and she just kept pumping.
I had been having chest pains and I knew something was very wrong. I was only 42 years old so I wasn't ready to deal with something like high blood pressure.
But there it was. My blood pressure was 240/130. That isn't healthy and it was going to kill me.
I immediately bought an automatic blood pressure cuff so I could measure my blood pressure myself. I had to try everything to get my blood pressure down and I wanted to measure the results.
The first thing I did was to eliminate all salt from my diet. That made no difference. Apparently the sensitivity to salt only affects a small minority of people with high blood pressure, but it seems to be the first thing doctors recommend.
I started researching other remedies. Most had no effect whatsoever on my blood pressure. Some brought it down a little.
And then I found a remedy that lowered it completely to normal range in two weeks time.
The chest pains disappeared.
As I mentioned, some people respond to lowering salt intake. I didn't and most people don't.
There are probably a lot of different reasons for high blood pressure, so my technique might not work for you.
I have since heard of many people who have used this technique with success though. And I have had three family members and two friends try it when they had high blood pressure. It worked for all of them.
Obviously I'm not a doctor. You need to work with a health care practitioner for any kind of health problem.
But I can tell you what worked for me and worked for others. That way you can decide if it is something you might want to try after talking to your own doctor.
Here are all of the step-by-step details of the plan I followed to lower my blood pressure:
